Chris Evans and his marvelous acting career: The Marveled insights

Which actor has improved their craft the most since their first big break in Hollywood?

Chris Evans looked prime to be the next great action star. He was big, he was handsome, and he was charming. But that was it.
Now who knows what he can do?
Perhaps this is because of how Evans started. His first leading role in a major film was as boring heartthrob superhero in Fantastic Four.
Naturally, he continued on that trajectory. He played boring superhero or badass action villain in The Losers, Scott Pilgrim, Push, The Iceman, and Captain America.
But then, Captain America started to get more dimensional. Slowly, Evans needed to give more to that role than a normal action hero. For lack of a better way to say it, the man had to act.
And act he did.
He did more than just embody Captain America, he managed to pull genuine emotions from the scripts melodrama: the mark of a good actor.
And then…
Snowpiercer
This visceral, disturbing performance of a man who leads a revolution despite an entire world of tribulation being thrown at him put Evans on the map as a viable dramatic actor.
He is absolutely stunning in the film. His final monologue is as emotional as his action scenes are intimidating.
Chris Evans went from being Johnny Storm to being a storm of talent.
