Den of Thieves (2018): Movie Review

               Jim Pagiamtzis Review
Gerard Butler is great in this cast and mouse game with a bank robbers who have the perfect plan to execute. Supporting cast compliments the film. Curtis "50 cent" Jackson shows his action chops. You have to keep you eye on rising star O'Shea Jackson Jr who literally steals the show!

Annihilation (2018): Movie Review

        Jim Pagiamtzis review
Lena (Natalie Portman) is on journey with 3 other women into a magical space where many have gone before and not return. Then her husband Kane (Oscar Isaac) goes in and come back little different. Lena then offers to go in to get some answers and is thrust into an adventure where reality and reasoning don't mix.  Slowly the plot unravels and the answer to come hence very slowly.

There a lots of back and forth from flash backs to insights on their question and the what the experts with her and thinking may have strong clues as to what is happening to them

Sadly this film is a like a slow moving snail going across a very long tree. Very similar to Arrival (2016) and Life (2017) with  lots of questions and not enough answers as to why!

If you do some researching online you can draw your own conclusions
