Scream (2022): Movie Review

Jim's Review

Ghostface is back in Woodsboro, California and new cast of characters are all targets.

Dewey (David Arquette) has been asked to assist in finding the killer. It says about "The killer is in the poster"

If you are fan of the series then you will enjoy it tremendously with a lot of more gore and bloody scenes hence the R rating.

Sidney Prescot (Neve Campbell) and Gale Weather (Courtney Cox) are pulled into the drama as to finder the Ghostface and ending the killing.

Being 2022 there is lots of technology involvement and throwbacks to the original series with cool and very cryptic cameos by one of the stars (not saying anymore!)

By the time you reach the climatic third act all will be revealed and explained in over the top and glory action will have you wondering  if some of the lines were meant for a zombie movie instead for Scream

Film is dedicated to the king of horror Wes Craven (passed away in 2015)

9 out of 10 stars
