The Swarm is a gritty film about a woman breeding locusts and not succeeding at it, her young children are not helping and life is falling apart. Until she stumbles on a way to improve the product of her locusts and this bring her huge success and some darker problems begin to occur.

The film stars Suliane Brahim, Sofian Khammes, Marie Narbonne, Raphael Romand and Nathalie Boyer. The film was selected for the International Critics' Week at the 2020 Cannes Film Festival.
