Book Review: Jab,Jab,Jab Right Hook by Gary Vaynerchuk

Jab, Jab, Jab Right Hook by Gary Vaynerchuk

You go on journey with Gary on the history of social media and how to get through the noise to share your story.   He states early in the book " discuss engagement, because I still think most people aren't engaging enough to set up their jabs as well as they should, but this book will emphasize right hooks."  That what he strategically does all the way through.

Teaching the insight with his experience and insights (jab jab jab) and the gives amazing examples from the field of social media of amazing and terrible (right hooks)

He says " From now on, marketers were going to have to spend a lot more time jabbing at their consumer before landing their right hook.

That's why I spent the majority of my last two books explaining  how to jab properly, even though I knew that managers and marketers cared mostly about right hooks, Jabs are the lightweight pieces of content that benefit your customers by making them laugh, snicker, ponder, play a game, feel appreciated, or escape; right hooks are calls to action that benefit your businesses, It's just like when your telling a good story-the punch line or climax has no power without the exposition and action that came before it. There is not sale without the story; no knockout without a setup."

As he talks about various social platforms from Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instragram and many more you get see how they are have their place and in many cases they don't overlap very well.

They example he share are interesting, funny, captivating and at times you may say to yourself "Somebody thought this up!"

Round 9 is about Effort and this is where ties everything together with an amazing boxing story which is a very memorable moment time (you have to buy the book to read it!)

Gary Vaynerchuk delivers a stellar example of teaching, sharing, lessons and powerful and thought provoking examples which fits the title to the book perfectly  Jab, Jab, Jab Right Hook!

Way to go @garyvee Look forward to next book....
