Morbius (2022): Movie Review

Jim's Review

Dr Morbius (Jared Leto) is determined to find a cure for rare blood disorder to cure himself and others.  He does a big cost to him and his best friend Loxias Brown (Matt Smith) takes it also.

Morbius come to life and quickly realizes the power he possess and Loxias has other plans for it

His fellow chemist Martine Bancroft (Adria Arjona) tries to help and get really involved in the situation.

In the post credit scene Adrian Toomes (Michael Keaton) is brought back to life as to the situation that occurred in Spiderman No Way Home and quickly summons Morbius to handle the Spider-man!

As far as the entire film as whole it seems very slow and lacks the spark. The action sequences and the character development looked week.

It looks like it takes place in the Venom and Spiderman timeline with the Daily Bugle being shown and spiderman is mentioned in the end.

This is exactly what happen in the first Venom (2018) with a weak script and lack of character development yet in Venom Let there be Carnage (2021) all that was dealt and it made for a stronger film.

This may be the prelude the sinister six film that has long been anticipated. In most recent Spider-man No Way Home (2021) numerous villains were brought back and were returned in the end.

Morbius sequel may give Sony and Marvel to work on there partnership to enhance the impact Morbius had in the multiverse
