Goal, VAR (Video assisted referee) and Rain!
It was was an entertaining drama filled FIFA World Cup 2018 held in Russa this year.
Many of the top teams were knocked out early, England, Spain, Portugal and Germany
Two remained Croatia and France. France had last won in 1998
They game was full of goals and controversy. Croatia player accidendally hit the ball with his hand in the crease and after referee consulted with VAR he was given a penalty shot.
France took an early 3-1 lead and won the game 4-2
It was great to see all the players celebrating in the rain!
Look forward to the 2026 FIFA game will be held in North America
