The Leafs were in Detroit for their 5th game of the season. Detriot Red Wings are a much different team these day with no bid superstars but with lots of speedy players.
The teams traded 3 on 1 chances for goals in the first period. Going into the second period the Maple Leafs started to pull away with couple of great goals from Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner.
Morgan Reilly defenceman has league leading 12 points and leader in the league in that department.
