It’s thanksgiving and it’s time to shop for some gifts. Online shopping is great. Easy, fast and most of the time even cheaper, yet it might also be EXTREMELY dangerous. If you like shopping online make sure that the web sites you use are secured. How? Follow these simple steps below:
1- Check the address bar in your browser to make sure that the URL starts with (https) not just (http).
2- Most browsers show you if the security certificate for the web site is valid by indicating the Green color in the address bar and Red color if not safe.
3- If you’re still skeptic check the validity and strength of the web site’s certificate using a SLL certificate check tool like one of the two tools below:
