#Google was hacked? That’s a myth! It was the Google Plus data that was scraped. As a result, Google decided to close it by August 2019.
What is the impact of this decision? Let’s see:
1- First it was not a big deal as Google Plus is not used nor popular
than Facebook or twitter, yet if you use it, your data was scraped, and
you should be careful of spam email or scam calls.
2- You can download all your data and back it up before it will be all deleted by going to the following URL and choose G+ to receive a link of the files containing your data
https://takeout.google.com/
3- Make sure to secure your Google account login with multi authentication level (explained in a previous CyTip) so no one will hack into your account.
