CyTip 27:

#Spam is a crime! And, it could get you in serious troubles. If you own a business or making your product or running your own website and want to send mass mail to people to market that there are rules and regulations for this. Here are some advice points to consider:

1- Do NOT mass mail people without their clear consent. If you have their primitive or verbal consent, you can send but, in all cases, make sure they’re okay with it.


2- Whenever you send mass email make sure they can unsubscribe or opt-out of this mass email whenever they can by providing a link in every email, so they can easily click it and request to opt-out.


3- It’s recommended that you use any mass email tools from the internet like MailChimp or Constant Contact or other. If you send them manually make sure to put all your recipients in the “BCC” box. Putting them all (or part) in the “to:” or “CC” boxes might et you in big problem.


4- Finally, review the Canadian Anti Spam Law i=on the following link:
