Webcams have changed the we communicate on the web. We are now able to see each other across the globe live on our laptops, phones, tablets even smart watches. Yet, these built in webcams can be hacked and activated remotely by some bad people while we are totally oblivious of what is happening. To keep yourself safe from people getting deep into your life do the following steps:

1- Make sure that you have the latest antivirus and firewall installed on your device and it’s from a well-known company.

2- Just to be extra careful install on the webcam covers (many available in the market) and make sure the webcam is covered only when needed to be used.

3- For your phone and tablet, buy a cover that can block the front and back cameras and make sure that your device is in a safe place while at home.
