Sharing photos is a great tool to keep in connection with the world and it’s okay to tell people where you are and what are you eating but be careful when sharing photos in private places like your house. 

Even if you don’t tell the address most mobile devices add “geotags” to your photos, which means they embed the EXACT geographical location in the image data that can be easily extracted by anyone who can view or download your photos.

  Don’t give the stalkers information that they can use against you for free. Disable the geotagging in your device’s camera app immediately. Since there are many apps there that I can’t post links to all of them just google “disable photo geotagging on…” then mention your device, app or operating system.
