It was a sad day for tax payers and Toronto Public Library users as the management of TPL made a very odd decision to allow controversial speaker to share her views.
I have been a card holder and have had success partnering up with the TPL early in my writing and speaker career.
Allowing this event to happen was hurtful and very confused on the leadership of the library.
As you see in the pictures below the was massive protest that evening yet the speech happened.
The City of Toronto will be reviewing TPL policies on how they select speakers in the future
