On the Line (2022): Movie Review
A Little Bit Broken -A Memoir: Book Review
Roz is a multi-platform entertainer and storyteller who hosts three shows a day and sleeps five hours a night. On The Roz & Mocha Show, ET Canada Live and Entertainment Tonight Canada Roz built an audience and turned them into family. But as with most families, there is just some shit we don't talk about.
From growing up in a small town to getting lost, drunk and terrified in New York while interning for The Howard Stern Show; from finding comfort in the arms and beds of strangers to kicking an opioid addiction he didn't know he had; from broken bones to broken hearts and a broken marriage. From navigating grief and guilt following the devastating loss of his father to persevering in the face of an ongoing and private battle with his own body. All is shared in Roz's disarming signature blend of blunt truth and humour.
A Little Bit Broken is a deeply personal and inspiring account of self-forgiveness, redemption and recovering from bad choices—because let's face it, the reason we make bad choices is that they usually feel really good. And Roz has made them all. "This book is the whole story I've never shared before. . . . This is the shit we don’t talk about. Welcome to the family."learn more and buy book

Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker (2019): Movie Review
Jim Pagiamtzis Review
The saga comes to end in this 9th installment of the Star Wars films. Daisy Ridley as Rey and Adam Driver as Kylo Ren/Ben continue their emotional and physical battle with a plot twist you won't see coming that will explain the happenings in the the previous two films The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi.
There are two new characters that will bring some hilarious drama to film which I feel is needed to change the pace during the middle frame
After that moment it becomes very apparent how the film will end and there will be some other surprises that you will enjoy that will put a bow on the series finale
The supporting roles Poe, Finn also bring the storyline to epic close with a battle of the ages that will revered for years to come.
It was amazing journey to watch this amazing Star War Saga unfold for so many years!
May the force be with you!

Chadwick Boseman (Avengers Endgame, Black Panther, 42) plays Andre Davis who gets involved in a case that is very perplexing to him from the very beginning. Sienna Miller plays Frankie Burns who partners up with Andre Davis to solve the horrible crime. Challenge is that they need to solve it in less than 4 hours!
The cat and mouse game begins to find the killer, the problems begin to mount as the FBI and New York police get involved in their case that cause more complications and questions to their motives.
The climatic 3rd act has lots of actions which seems to go fast and you pay attention you will find that Chadwick Boseman pulls some Black Panther moves and baseball slides! Produced by the Russo Brothers they combine a amazing storyline with some impactful action sequences.

The Irishman (2019): Movie Review

Three tremendous performances by Robert Deniro as Frank Sheeran who goes on a journey of lifetime working with Al Pacino as Jimmy Hoffa and Joe Pesci as Russell Bufalino.
Frank Sheeran gets involved with Jimmy Hoffa and all sort of drama occurs in twist and turn saga that gets out of hand very quickly. Director Martin Scorsese give the perspective Frank Sheeran and what he went through dealing with Hoffa and the crime bosses dealings with the massive Teamster Union and power of keeping control was not what it seemed to Hoffa
This nearly perfect film give you the insights on the backroom dealings that Russll Baflino did to keep the mob in order.

Just Mercy (2019) TIFF Movie Review
Jim Pagiamtzis Review
True story of Bryan Stevenson (Michael B Jordon) and the journey he went through to prove the innocence of Walter McMillian ( Jamie Foxx) in 1987.
This film has twist and turns that will have on emotional ride until the very end. Just Mercy is a powerful story of determination and the search for the truth and the justice of the wrongly convicted.
10 out of 10 stars
Movie plot
Michael B. Jordan (“Black Panther,” “Creed,” “Creed II”) and Oscar winners Jamie Foxx (“Ray,” “Baby Driver,” “Django: Unchained”) and Brie Larson (“Room,” “The Glass Castle,” “Captain Marvel”) star in “Just Mercy,” an inspiring drama that brings one of the most important stories of our time to the big screen. Award-winning filmmaker Destin Daniel Cretton (“The Glass Castle,” “Short Term 12”) directed the film from a screenplay he co-wrote, based on the award-winning nonfiction bestseller by Bryan Stevenson. A powerful and thought-provoking true story, “Just Mercy” follows young lawyer Bryan Stevenson (Jordan) and his history-making battle for justice. After graduating from Harvard, Bryan had his pick of lucrative jobs. Instead, he heads to Alabama to defend those wrongly condemned or who were not afforded proper representation, with the support of local advocate Eva Ansley (Larson). One of his first, and most incendiary, cases is that of Walter McMillian (Foxx), who, in 1987, was sentenced to die for the notorious murder of an 18-year-old girl, despite a preponderance of evidence proving his innocence and the fact that the only testimony against him came from a criminal with a motive to lie. In the years that follow, Bryan becomes embroiled in a labyrinth of legal and political maneuverings and overt and unabashed racism as he fights for Walter, and others like him, with the odds—and the system—stacked against them.
