Dr. Mindy (Leonardo Dicaprio) and Kate Dibiasky (Jennifer Lawrence) make a startling discover of a comet headed towards earth. They make every effort to tell the world from President of the United States Janie Orlean(Meryl Streep) to the news media.
It all falls of deaf ears as social media and people don't seem to listen to them at all. This dark comedy showcases the failing of climate change effects that the world has been is going through.
The CEO of Bash Peter Ishwell (Mark Rylance) steps in to attempt to save the day with their robotic creations.
