"Jurassic World; Fallen Kingdom"- Movie Review
Jim Pagiamtzis review:
The dinosaurs are back and this time their on the run from certain extinction from volcano that is erupting on Isla Nubar.
It starts as rescue mission then the plot quickly changes to escape and cloak and dagger intrigue. Dr. Malcolm ( Jeff Goldblum) make an interesting appearance to help explain what is happening to the dinosaur on the island and what should be done about it
There new charactor and plot lines that seem little bit of stretch and don't give the movie the spark it needed to make it roar like the previous.
There velociraptors, T-Rex make appearances as supporting characters. The new Indo Raptor makes a grand entrance and creates havoc inside a big mansion!
Throughout the film (J.A Boyano) recreates multiple scenes from previous films throughout the film to give the previous Jurassic films some reflection. The second half of the film is much darker and scarier that will scare the adults!
By the time we can to final act the movie has lost it's momentum and they make you start thinking about the sequel!
Rating 7 out of 10
Sujit K Reddy Review:
Good: a) Just as scary as the very first Jurassic Park Movie
b) Grand Daughter story was a side plot which pays off at the end and leads into next movie
Bad:
a) some of the CGI was very poorly done
b) the acting of the computer geek characher was horrible
c) Chris Pratt and Bryce Howard could have better dialogue with more humour at times
Ugly: They were using the Star Wars forumula and repeating story beats from the original trilogy which was glaring and obvious.
