Cycling event at College and Shaw: Event Review

    Tuesday May 28th

 It Bike Month 2019 in Toronto and cycle Toronto is holding events from May 27th - June 10. All around Toronto to educate, advocate and share with the public on insights on what is happening in the City bike lane infrastructure.

    On this night we were handing out swag bags and ask cyclist to support out initiatives to expand bike lanes and buy our bike month shirts.

Journey to amazing meeting with new client intersted in Constant Contact platform.

            Tuesday August 28th

             It was beautiful summer day and I had meeting in the Beaches area of Toronto with a new client who was interested in using Constant Contact for her business.

             I decided to go in style!  Got my Constant Contact running shoes and my Constant Contact glasses and got ready to cycle to the Beaches

           We have some amazing cycling lands in Toronto that lead to the Martin Goodman Trail that goes east and west across the cities waterfront.

            I started down Bathurst street all the way south to Fleet Street then went east on the Martin Goodman Trail all the way to Ashbridges Bay Park learn more .

             Then went north on Woodbine avenue and turn right and went east on Queen Street until I reached Nando Restaurant at 11:00am.

                 Had a spectacular conversation with my new client and look forward to long and rewarding business relationship with her.

                       Huge thank to Constant Contact support since 2012 and Summer Camp 2018 has been an amazing experience.

Cycling the streets of Toronto: Special cycling post

     Special cycling post:

              I have been cycling the streets of  Toronto for many years. In recent years there have been some big changes in the downtown core.

                 Bike Lanes on Bloor Street West ( Shaw St to Avenue Rd) were implemented for 1 years pilot project and later approved for the long term. It was great to have the ability to ride safely across bloor.

               Bike lanes have been install all over the city in recent years Shaw Street South, Dundas Street in the Junction and in the beaches area.

             There are many other areas that don't have lanes and this has made cycling a very dangerous thing to do. In July 2018 there were numerous deaths of cyclist in the downtown core. It was disturbing to see this happen.

               Our way of life has changed in recent years from cars, ebikes, rollerbladers and skateboarders are using the streets.

                 Vision Zero has been implemented by the city of Toronto to create a better and safer roadmap for everyone. It is a still a work in progress.

               I have been a member of cycle Toronto for a few years and have participated in various events that are used a education for everyone that we are sharing the streets and must have respect for each other.

               I have had many close calls in my journey of cycling and I am thankfull nothing serious.

                We have to continue to educate everyone that we love our city and must respect that everyone has different modes of transportation.

Journey to Bowmanville for movie The Art of Racing in the Rain

          Saturday July 7.2018

       It was awesome day to cycle from Bloor and Bathurst all the way south to the Martin Goodman Trailer and then go east all the way to edge of the Gardiner Expressway to the 30 Booth Avenue to Cinespace Film Studio.

  I locked my bike and then took 90 minutes bus ride to Bowmanville, ONT to the Canadian Tire Motorsports Speedway to appear in the film. The art of racing in the rain. Based on a book Actor Patrick Dempsey bought the rights to and now producing a movie.

  It was hot and cars were racing fast and furious around the race track!

  We were done at 8pm and then 90 minute bus ride back to Toronto and the cycled back home. Reach back at 10:30pm took a shower and crashed into bed
