The true story of Destiny (Constance Wu) and what happened to her life when she met Ramona (Jennifer Lopez) in 2008 just before the financial collapse that hit the United States.
The highs and lows the Destiny went through and the business that she started with Ramano post financial crisis that changed all their lives forever.
For the most part you follow Destiny journey yet it seemed that later in the movie is more about the impact that Ramona made on her and their rest of the team when they hit struggles.

Working as a stripper to make ends meet, Destiny's life changes forever when she becomes friends with Ramona -- the club's top money earner. Ramona soon shows Destiny how to finagle her way around the wealthy Wall Street clientele who frequent the club.
