On September 27th I was speaking and emcee at the Canada Job Expo at the North York Memorial Centure. At the end of my talk on Social Media Made Simple using Constant Contact I got approached by an attendee who wanted to learn more about Constant Contact.
Murali Murthy is the author of The Ace Principle and President of C.A.M.P The Canadian Advertisers and Marketing Professionals.
He invited me to share Networking and Social Media strategies on November 22nd at the North York Civic Centre to his organizations of advertisers and marketing professionals.
Had a great time sharing strategies to his group, I also invited Bonnie Chan who a teaching networking principles in Toronto and we both use a on the art of appreciated and send out a cards to friends regarding birthday or Thank you.
We had great engagement by everyone that evening and shared insights how networking and social media work together to market yourself.
Moral of story: You just never know who you are going to shake hands with in your networking journey. It could be your next speaking engagment!
