It was an awesome August. So many event great events happening in Toronto!
During the August 8,9,10 the annual Taste of Danforth is held closing the Danforth for 3 days! Millions of people come to walk the street and enjoy the great food.
I had guided tours August 8th and 9th and we all a great time. On the second day I took a picture to kiss the Canary to enter contest to win two tickets to TFC game on Aug 30th TFC vs NE Revolution
On Aug27 I got direct tweet from Canary Park that they wanted to speak to me an requested my phone number. The next day got a call with the great news. I won two tickets to Aug 30th game.
I had to go pick them up at their office on Front and Cherry a street on Thursday or Saturday.
I went on Saturday afternoon got the tickets and took my dad to the game. It his birthday earlier in the week. He was excited!
We had amazing seats at centre pitch and could see all the action
TFC ended up loosing the game 3-0 to the New England Revolution. 2 goals in the first half and another goal in early in the second half seal the win for the Revolution.
The news got from bad to worse on Sunday as the team fired the head coach and on Monday Sept 1st the Toronto Star newspaper was stating the star soccer player Jermaine Dafoe was going to be transfered to European team soon. Dafoe has been battling a serious groin issue and had missed many games this season.
