Cast of Suits honoured by Mayor John Tory: Special edition

  The cast and crew of suits was invited by the Mayor John Tory to celebrate 9 great season of the show Suits.

  The show was filmed all in Toronto for the last 9 years and has a huge following. They have had characters come and go, the most notable was Meghan Markle in Season 7 was her last as she met and marred Prince Harry.

   The show arc has continued with Gabriel Macht as Harvey Spectre taking the show to new heights with the final season turning out to be a well written and directed show.

   Congratulation to the cast and crew for 9 amazing season

 P.S I have been on the show as an background extra since since season 7 and has been amazing experience to see these amazing actors doing there craft.
                                                       

Journey to Suits Season 9

       Tuesday April 30th

         It was great experience to be Suits Season 9 for the third year in a row!

           Mauro and the Gypsy Kings Story

        I Mauro who was really one interested professional. I named him "Mr. Persistent"

      Here is why

      He shared me the story on how he met the Gipsy Kings a few years ago.

     He attended a concert and wanted them to sign his guitar. Seemed like an easy request.

     It started by some detective work, networking and persistence on not give up to get the guitar sign.

  Well it happened the guitar go signed by all of them! (he had a picture to prove)

   "Wow great story" we all said

  He then said "wait there is more!"

  He pulled up a phone and show us a video of the Gipsy Kings and him singed together back stage with the guitar. We were all amazing beyond belief!  ( okay he got a picture and video)

  He said "wait there is more!"

  We were all stunned " I am getting VIP tickets to sing on stage with them on the next tour!"

  Then we all sat down and said "now that's a great story!"

      Persistent is key to achieve any goal



                                                             

Journey to Suits Season 8

                             Friday Sept 21st


    It was great experience be invited back to Suits Season 8. I had been on previously on the show in Sept 2017.

  Lots of things have changed on the show since them. Megan Markle character left show and new cast member have join,

 I got to meet her briefly on Friday afternoon, she was dressed in beautiful red dress that fit her well.

 Cast and crew met at 1 King Street West and then took a bus to the Aria Restaurant near the Scotiabank Arena. It was adventurous ride going through downtown core at 1:30pm!

  We had a quick break and were usher to the Le Germain Hotel nearby for 30 minutes to the Green Room.

      We wrapped up at 5:30pm and took the bus back to 1 King Street west. The bus descended north on Yonge and then attempted to make left on Wellington Street but was block by a standing truck so the bus driver stopped and let all of us out!  While blocking two lanes of traffic. now that take guts too do!

Journey to being on SUITS tv show

               It has been a short 3 years been involved in the movie industry in Toronto. Yet I still get surprised by reaction I get online when I post on which set I am going to on.

        On September 14 I posted on Facebook and Instagram that I was going to be on set of the tv show Suits on Friday night. What happened in the next 24 hours was crazy

     On Facebook I got 55 likes and 33 commnets!  Instagram 14 likes and 3 comments

        I guess alot of people in my community watch thhe show!  

      I had watched little bit of the show in recent years but didnow all the characters. I was aware of Megan Markle being on the show, her boyfriend is Prince Harry.

        Everything got really funny when I got a call from Dianne Ojar Ali at 9:00pm on Friday night on way to set. What followed was 1 hour discussion on about the show and who Harvey was and what was going on. After my conversation with her, she followed up with all the video to learn about the show.

           When I got near the set and came across some fans wanting to get a glimpse of Harvey. I cut through them and head to the set on the 27th floor.

            It was great to see some familiar faces of course the amazing and talented Michelle Cormier was on set!

            We eventually walk to set on midnight which was  fancy restaurant about 7 minutes away.

       
               Filming wrapped up before 2:30am not before all the background actor were treated to some nice italian pizza and drinks.

              It was busy weekend for yours truly because I ahd TIFF volunteers duties at 7:30am on Saturday moring at Scotiabank  Theatre.
