After four tours he returns home to his wife and kids and is not the same man.  He has his struggles to acclamate into normal life which he does he faces an untimely demise on his home soil.

Despite grave danger and his struggle to be a good husband and father to his family back in the States, Kyle serves four tours of duty in Iraq.            Spectacular film with an amazing cast Desmond T. Doss (Adam Garfield) had a belief that he will not fire a weapon and his journey began to trust himself that he would not do so. 
          He faced challenges in all directions yet in the end he became the unsung hero of his group.

              Amazing actions sequences and kudso to Mel Gibson and his team for telling this great story

        The true story of Pfc. Desmond T. Doss (Andrew Garfield), who won the Congressional Medal of Honor despite refusing to bear arms during WWII on religious grounds. Doss was drafted and ostracized by fellow soldiers for his pacifist stance but went on to earn respect and adoration for his bravery, selflessness and compassion after he risked his life -- without firing a shot -- to save 75 men in the Battle of Okinawa.
