Michael Shannon and Michael B Jordan in Fahrenheit 451
Jim Pagaimtzis Review
" A powerful films with a all-star cast Michael B Jordon (Montag) and Michael Shannon (mentor) face a battle of burning book in this dystopian book turned to movie by Ramin Bahrani. Some of the facts have been change to showcase the new future of the internet and how humanity communicates.
The nine is where people get there information now and the Eils are trying to change that. Books get found by firement of station 451. Montag begins as a passionate 451 fire burner but later realizes the truth and is on a quest to save 9 and prolong the existence of information in all the books.
Ray Bradbury had the vision in the mid fifties of what the future may look like, and if he was alive today he would be smiling as to how accurate he was!
Shot entirely in Toronto and Hamilton using local talent including yours truly in a cool subways scene. Warren Belle also make a powerful appearance playing Montag dad in flashback scene.

My Plot
Fahrenheit 451 is based on Ray Bradbury's classic novel. In a future where the media is an opiate, history is rewritten and "firemen" burn books, Jordan plays Guy Montag, a young fireman who struggles with his role as law enforcer and with his "mentor", played by Shannon. Premieres Spring 2018 on HBO.
