Jim's Review
Smile has a great poster!
The movie unfortunately doesn't deliver... Dr Rose Cotter (Sosie Bacon) begins to feel weird and different and can't figure out why?
She begins her journey to figure it out because that what any sane person would do right!
Director Parker Finn had the best of intentions and missed the opportunity to give a great ending. He was correct in saying below in Time article
"Smile director Parker Finn knows that some will be upset by the “bummer” ending"
There are cool cast members as Sosie husband Trevor (Jessie T. Usher) has some amazing emotianal scene and Dr Morgan Desai (Kal Penn)
There is only one scene that made it slicky was near the end where it reminded me of Aliens films with their goosy saliva
The final epic ending does bring closure to the story but in a very unsatisfactory way.
6 out of 10 stars
