Jim's Review
Warning; It is a very thick book! It took me 3 weeks to read it.
NSA has lots of secrets and in this book Jams Bamford share many from internal documents request and sources
As you begin to read it there are section that are very terrifying to read and at some points very very scary as to what the U.S.A was thinking of doing in the 60's.
It continues to unravel as James peels back the layers and reveals insights on Crypto City ( yes that its called) and what they do and costs of doing it.
Some of the unique feature of Crypto City and what the people do there during the day and in some cases the amazing success they have in their part- time ventures
The last chapter is Afterword is a detailed insight as what happened on Sept 11,2001 and how the deadly day in American history rippled through the agency and the lessons learning from it.
10 out of 10 stars
