It was tightly played 1st period which was tied 1-1, the big action happened in the 3rd periods as Holl and Mikheyev both end long scoring droughts to give Maples Leafs 3-1 lead. Montreal did score a late goal to make it 3-2. Toronto scored on empty net to seal the win
