Jim Pagiamtzis review
Fast and Furious is back with a extremely well done spinoff with Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) and Shaw ( Jason Stathan) trying to work together to solve a global catastrophe. Idris Alba is Brixton and super soldier of sorts who is making every effort to kidnap Vanessa Kirby plays Hobb's sister.
What happens are chases and comedic gags that will have you laughing so hard and make you forget you are in a movie theatre. Ryan Reynolds (Locke) and Kevin Hart (Air Marshall Dinkley)are absolutely hilarious in their roles!
Look forward to the next chapter of spinoffs of Fast & Furious zoooooooooom.....

Sujit K Reddy:
Good: lots of great action with car chases & stunts; the two unexpected cameos were a nice surprise Bad: There was no real resolution to the love story that was developed Ugly: the obvious set ups for a sequel
Special Mention: Idris Alba was a great bad
Ever since hulking lawman Hobbs (Johnson), a loyal agent of America's Diplomatic Security Service, and lawless outcast Shaw (Statham), a former British military elite operative, first faced off in 2015’s Furious 7, the duo have swapped smack talk and body blows as they’ve tried to take each other down. But when cyber-genetically enhanced anarchist Brixton (Idris Elba) gains control of an insidious bio-threat that could alter humanity forever — and bests a brilliant and fearless rogue MI6 agent (The Crown’s Vanessa Kirby), who just happens to be Shaw’s sister — these two sworn enemies will have to partner up to bring down the only guy who might be badder than themselves.
