Captain Marvel (2019): Movie Review

           Jim Pagiamtzis Review
In the recent Marvel Cinematic universe Movie Captain Marvel's history is explained the journey she went on to become this iconic hero. She learns who she is and and the powers she was given were of great significance to earth for now and for the future. Great supporting cast  Anne Benning (Supreme Intelligence -Dr Wendy Lawson) Jude Law (Yon-Rogg) Samuel L Jackson (Nick Fury) Clark Gregg (Agent Coulson)  and of course Goose the Cat who steals the movie with his antics!  Stan Lee is given a royal solute at the beginning of the film and his cameo on the train is fantastic.

This all leads into the upcoming Avengers End Game on April 26th where Captain Marvel joins the Avengers to deal with Thanos in this epic movie which poised to break box office records.

  Sujit Reddy Review:
Good: Tribute to Stan Lee at the beginning was a classy move.

Bad: 1) Mentioning the Tesseract was not needed because it confuses the existing MCU time line.

2) There was not enough of Carol Danvers "Earth Origin Story" for this movie to serve as the Captain Marvel origin story!

Ugly: 1) There was no real build up to how Carol Danvers gets the Captain Marvel title.

2) How Fury loses his eye sucked!

3) Post Credit Scene #1: ruins how the non-dusted #Avengers meets #CaptainMarvel in #AvengersEndGame
