In this world, fertile women are reduced to becoming breeders enslaved by powerful men. Emmy winner Elisabeth Moss plays Offred, a handmaid who harbors rebellious feelings. Season 1 covered the events of Atwood’s novel, leaving Season 2 exploring totally new story territory. The show recently added to its trophy case with a Golden Globe for Best Drama Series.
