I got a text from my ball hockey friend Gordon So on Monday morning asking me to call him ASAP.
Got hm quickly and he says "You want to go to hockey game on tonight!"
I said "Sure"
Team Europe was playing Team Czech at 3;00pm at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto
It was amazing afternoon of hockey. Team Europe outplayed Team Czech in the first period but couldn't couldn't score.
Second Period was entire different game a goal was scored by each team including a penalty shot which Team Europe player didn't score
Going into the third period two more scored which the game was tied 2-2 after 3 periods of play.
That meant overtime and 3 on 3 hockey.
Matt Zuccarello passed to Leon Draisaitl who scored on breakaway to give Team Europe the win!
