Fan Expo- United by Fandom 2021: Event Review

  Sunday October 24th

It was awesome day to attend the Fan Expo 2021, finally going to an event with other people I was full excitement to check out this amazing show!

Being held at the Metro Convention Centre north and south building this year with little different layout.  Entrance was from the parking garage in the South building underground where you had to get check for vaccination and get your badge which brought you to the 900 Level in the South Building

Full of booth selling all types of  merchandise from comics, pop stars and much more.

I was a special mission as undercover Agent of Shield member/ Captain America to meet three stars Tim Rozon (Surreal Estate), Robert Patrick (Terminator 2) and William Shatner (Star Trek)

In the end I met Robert Patrick who was recently in Protege and the upcoming Save the World with John Cena.  He spoke with my friend via phone who was not able to make the event.

The was lots of walking to do from the South building to the North building and then back to the South building. ( I got my steps in the for the day!)

It was great to see all the amazing cosplayers who were walking around (see photos below)

Rating for the show 8 out of 10 stars

The Deep House (2021) Move Review

Two You Tubers explore an underwater house with the premise of hitting big on Youtube.

What follow is a adventure to the bottom of this hidden water oasis. With a cool POV from an underwater drone name "Tom" they set out to check out the house.

The phrase "Send in the drone" is a little overused as the creepiness begins to grow at every turn.

By the time you reach the climatic end more questions than answers will arise for the horror film.

                                                                                 About book

From the “literary master for a generation” (The London Observer) comes a fiercely com- pelling and current novel set in Hamburg that plays to all of le Carré’s trademark strengths— Germany, rival intelligence operations, and sympathetic protagonists who discover a taste for moral integrity.

A half-starved young Russian man in a long black overcoat is smuggled  into  Hamburg  at  dead  of night.  He  has  an  improbable amount  of  cash  secreted  in  a purse  round  his  neck.  He  is a devout Muslim. Or is he? He says his name is Issa.

Annabel, an idealistic young German civil rights lawyer, determines to save Issa from deportation. Soon her client’s survival becomes more important to her than her own career—or safety.
In pursuit of Issa’s mysterious past, she confronts the incon- gruous Tommy Brue, the sixty- year-old scion of Brue Frères, a failing British bank based in Hamburg.

Annabel, Issa, and Brue form an unlikely alliance—and a triangle of impossible loves is born.  Meanwhile, scenting a sure kill in the so-called War on Terror, the spies of three nations converge upon the innocents.
Poignant, compassionate, peopled   with   characters the reader never wants to let go, A Most Wanted Man
is alive with humor, yet prickles with tension until the last heart-stopping page. It is a work of deep humanity and uncommon relevance to our times.learn more and buy book
